Nancy M. Garver has been a worshipper of God since 1973. She has been very involved in church leadership through the years and was the Ohio Prayer Coordinator for National Day of Prayer 2016–19. Nancy authored "Finally Free" in 2012 regarding her late son, Jonathan.

She is an intercessor and an avid gardener. She was married 61 years to Robert before his passing, and she lives in Westerville. She is the mother of Diahann and the grandmother of Chris, Claire, and Cate.
