Debra Greer’s Written Account of Generational Witchcraft Will Be Displayed at the L.A. Times Festival of Books 2023
Since she was a little girl, Debra Greer has had direct encounters with the supernatural. In today’s world, not even a vast majority of Christians completely believe in supernatural curses and the power of Satan behind it all. But for Debra Da’reen Greer, the power of curses is real. She encounters its evil work in her own family. All of the details and evidence are described in her book “A Woman in Need Breaking Free from Generational Curses and Witchcraft.”
Growing up in Chicago, Greer firmly believes that the dark energy of Satan began gathering around her family line due to the occult practices of West African ancestors. It was then worsened by uncomfortable rumors and whispers about her great-grandparents, which imply that the curse was from a voodoo witch’s scorn that would haunt every woman in their family up to the modern day.
She then further expounds how this occult energy grew stronger during the 1960s when the drug and sex revolution opened more pathways from Satan (and then furthered by a culture of gang violence where she lived). Her mother went and embraced an alternative lifestyle with an abusive girlfriend despite the evil it only continued to invite.
Despite it all, she knew even at a young age that there was hope. It began when Greer was moved by the sound of a gospel singer. She believed that it was the Holy Spirit protecting her and guiding her back on the path to breaking her generational curse by the saving blood of Jesus Christ.
Debra D.
