The politics and social sciences book “The African Question: Problems and the Future of the Continent” by Dr. Joseph B. Rukanshagiza will be displayed by self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the London Book Fair. The book trade fair will take place from April 18 to 20, 2023, at Olympia London, London, UK.

“The African Question” presents a compelling argument that delves into the roots of Africa’s political problems, tracing them back to the formation of African states. The author asserts that these states are not only artificial in their physical borders but also in the psychology of their people, which has led to a multitude of political and social issues.

According to Dr. Rukanshagiza, the African question is a complex issue encompassing a range of interconnected problems. These include the failure of many African countries to achieve sustained economic growth and internal political instability characterized by conflicts, fragmentation, and social unrest. Additionally, the question of why African nations have been unable to unite into a single entity despite the advocacy of nationalist leaders during the pre-independence period is another critical aspect of the African question.

This insightful book offers a comprehensive examination of Africa’s current political, economic, and social conditions using the historical lens of centuries of colonial rule.
