PBS Leads in Peabody Nominations
PBS programs received 13 total Peabody Award nominations, more than any other network, proving PBS continues to be a trusted leader in storytelling and education. Eight of those nominations are accredited to FRONTLINE, a record number for the PBS series.
The Peabody Awards Board of Jurors announced the 27 nominees for the Documentary and News categories on April 11 and the 42 nominees for Entertainment, Arts, Children’s/Youth, Podcast/Radio, Interactive & Immersive, and Public Service today. These films were selected to represent the most compelling and empowering stories released in 2022 across broadcast and streaming media.
The winners of the 83rd annual Peabody Awards will be announced on May 9. The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, June 11 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles.
