This amazing event, which is the largest literary festival in the country, will take place on April 22-23, 2023, at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA.

“Seizing Jurisdiction” is a crime thriller novel that revolves around Spencer Baldwin, a Savannah narcotic detective in pursuit of a drug smuggler known as the Snowman. Spencer’s romantic life complicates the investigation when his lover, Alisheen Delaney, becomes involved with Carl Powers. An unknown informant provides Spencer with information but hasn’t provided any clues to his identity. It turns out Carl is the Snowman, and Spencer has no idea that Carl, a seafood distributor, is the man that he is after.

Jay is a retired healthcare administrator and consultant. A graduate of Clemson University and the Medical University of South Carolina, he has always been an avid reader and had an interest in writing his own novels. He is already working on new projects and expects his second novel to be available this year.
