“The Book of Hope” by Mary C. Muduuli Will Be Exhibited at the 2023 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books

“The Book of Hope: How Women Rise Up, Take Charge and Win in Retirement,” a personal growth and success guide by Mary C. Muduuli will be displayed by self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the 2023 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, which will take place at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles on April 22-23, 2023.

Mary C. Muduuli conveys a strong message about women’s empowerment in “The Book of Hope.” The book provides the readers with an understanding of how women are game changers and, at the same time, limited by society in their capabilities to achieve their goals. Mary, born and raised in Uganda, now lives in Ottawa, Canada, enjoying writing, life-skills coaching and reading. Mary is a new author and her first book “The Book of Hope,” with an African woman’s perspective, focuses on self-help, growth and success in a challenging world. She also authored “Silver Linings,” a digital book. Her personal life events and a challenging but successful professional career promoted her positive mindset and aroused an interest to help other women navigate life with confidence. Mary is a retired development economist, holding a Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Manitoba. She worked as a civil service for 31 years and for 9 years with multilaterals abroad.
