Rasheed Jeffries’ Book Featuring Hearty Take on Fatherhood and Dad Jokes Will Be Exhibited at the 2023 London Book Fair

Rasheed Jeffries has had a challenging life growing up, being harshly impacted by divorce and a father who abandoned him. The cycle began to repeat, as his first marriage ended in divorce, however, as a born-again Christian, his growth in this newfound strength and faith prompted him to turn it around. His book, “Pun Intended,” shares reflections and advice on Christian fatherhood. It will be displayed at the London Book Fair 2023.

“As for sacrificing my dreams, career and easy comfortable life to raise my kids, I couldn’t have made a better decision and would choose to do so 100 times out of 100.”

Rasheed H. Jeffries was one of the thousands of American kids who grew up with an absentee father. This, in turn, only led to a very depressing cycle of anger, confusion and broken, dysfunctional relationships when he grew up. However, when he became a truly born-again Christian on the 11th of December, 1994, he went on a journey that pushed him to break this cycle.

He learned much on that journey, and through his new book, “Pun Intended,” he shares his spiritual insights and bits of advice to anyone interested in the healthy family unit. The book will be displayed by self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the prestigious London Book Fair 2023 on April 18-20, 2023, at the historic Olympia London, London, UK.

There is no doubt that there will be other books at the fair that also talk about absentee fathers. But unlike many of them, Jeffries goes against the growing mainstream narrative that depicts fathers as “deadbeat narcissists.”

Instead, he stands by the traditional Christian values that put the father as the most important leadership figure in the nurturing of new generations. Quality time with the kids is the only time that matters. It’s the best way to break the generational cycles of broken homes, divorce, and selfish pursuits.

His own experience of absentee fathers (and the culture that creates them) was all the proof he needed to know that this lack is destroying the backbone of society. He’s also no stranger to the difficult decisions that come with it either, as he had sacrificed a 28-year rap career to fully dedicate time to his kids.

Still, Rasheed H. Jeffries tackles these challenges with a good mix of humor and honesty. Visitors to the London Book Fair will learn all he has to say by checking out his book “Pun Intended” at ReadersMagnet’s exhibit at stand no. 6A90. Get a copy on Amazon.
