#ICYMI: Epic March 2023 Experiences #withAmex

In case you missed it, March #withAmex unlocked access to some of the world’s most anticipated moments including the return of Paris Fashion Week and the start of Japan’s Cherry Blossom season. And not just any kind of access: our fashion-forward Card Members were immersed into the world of Stella McCartney for four days including a seat to the Winter 2023 runway show, and a private viewing of the Cherry Blossoms at Kyoto’s historic Daigoji Temple.

The month also brought new and exciting experiences to Card Members including noma’s fine dining pop-up in Japan inspired by the Sakura season and an intimate listening party hosted by SiriusXM to help celebrate the release of Fall Out Boy’s new album.

New York: Exclusive Listening Party with Fall Out Boy

To celebrate the exciting release of Fall Out Boy’s new album ‘So Much (For) Stardust’ which comes as the band’s eighth studio album, American Express invited select Platinum Card® Members to attend an event the SiriusXM studios in New York. They were able to listen to the album before its release and hear commentary directly from the band as they joined SiriusXM Hits 1 host Mikey Piff from for a Q&A.

France: Paris Fashion Week with Stella McCartney

Select Platinum Card® and Centurion® Members joined luxury brand Stella McCartney in Paris for the debut of the Winter 2023 runway collection. It was the ultimate Paris Fashion Week experience with exclusive insider moments, including a seat at the official runway show followed by a meet-and-greet with McCartney, lunch with Juliet Russell, the company’s Head of Sustainability, private in-store shopping with additional access to the showroom to pre-order the collection, and more.

Japan: Daigoji Temple Private Night Cherry Blossom Viewing

American Express Japan Platinum Card® and Centurion® Members experienced the beauty – and a great photo opp - of Cherry Blossom season in Kyoto. They enjoyed a private nighttime viewing, surrounded by the pale-pink blooms, at the Daigoji Temple, part of the Historic Monument of Ancient Kyoto of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.  

Japan: noma Kyoto Pop-Up

Three-Michelin-starred Restaurant Noma, voted best restaurant in the world five times, has arrived at the Ace Hotel Kyoto for a 10-week pop-up, bringing to Japan a unique menu of dishes inspired by the Sakura season and brought to life by locally sourced ingredients. In celebration of the pop-up, select U.S. Card Members attended an exclusive event and took home a special hand-crafted gift selected for this event series, courtesy of Global Dining Access by Resy. Select Japan Card Members who have made pre-booked dinner reservations will also be able to enjoy the experience on select dates through May 20.
