Meet Hannah. She’s a young woman who’s been described as perky and scrupulous to a fault. She’s the heroine of the story, and she loves the water. And that’s what she was doing at Lake Erie during her summer vacation.

However, during one of her class’s diving lessons, the ship she’s on runs into an accident on the lake. The brothers Joe and Mike North are on a mission on the lake, but when their trip takes a disastrous turn, Hannah and her dive class step in to help. And when Joe tells her that he believes that their accident was caused by the lake beast of Lake Erie, their adventure begins.

Douglas Strait has been writing screenplays for most of his life. However, he eventually decided to start migrating his plays into novels since he discovered that it was easier for people to read them that way. “Hannah and The Lake Beast Mystery” is one such example of a screenplay that was converted into a book, and it also happens to be the one that is most favored by many of his readers.
