The mystery crime thriller “The Saint of the Hill: A Taste of Life and a Spoon of Love” by Luis Zaensi will soon be available for display by self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books on April 22-23, 2023, at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA.

“The Saint of the Hill” tells a story that starts on the island of Ischia, where something intriguing is taking place. That’s what Umberto tells Salvatore, one of his best detectives, before their ludicrous nightmare begins. Umberto and Salvatore are under the impression that Don Franco recently moved to the gorgeous Italian island and purchased a tourist complex on the top of a hill. They believe that this is where members of organized crime get together.

Detective Salvatore stakes out the property and tries everything to pin the mobster down, only to find himself three steps behind the notorious smiling saint each time. Despite the fact that there is no evidence connecting Don Franco to any criminal activity, Salvatore continues to try.

The fiction that author Luis Zaensi creates is not too different from the author’s own life experiences. He exposes both the positive and negative aspects of the individuals he writes about in his work. Readers come to their own conclusions about the events that take place in his stories, as he does not attempt to promote any particular belief system.

This riveting book will keep its readers on the edge of their seats until the very last page.

He is a retired law enforcement officer who uses his experiences of dealing with the good, bad, and ugly to create stories that are not far different from real life. Zaensi writes about people, exposing their positive and negative qualities. He does not impose any belief in his stories but leaves it to the reader to make their own judgment.

Zaensi loves traveling with his family to different countries so he can learn about other cultures. In his travels, Zaensi has learned that different people from different countries and speaking different languages all share the same problems in life
