“Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge” Premieres on HGTV This Summer

A dream come true for Barbie fans everywhere as the iconic Barbie Dreamhouse comes to life with a brand-new competition series on HGTV hosted by supermodel, designer, author, and entrepreneur Ashley Graham.

With celebrity guests, blasts from the past, and all things Barbie, eight teams of HGTV superstars will give one Southern California home an unforgettable Barbie-style makeover and make one passionate Barbie fan’s dream come true in Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge.

“Over the years, we have been proud to expand the Barbie brand to include best-in-class content ranging from animated series and specials to the upcoming theatrical release,” said Fred Soulie, Senior Vice President and General Manager at Mattel Television. “As we continue to celebrate the Barbie Dreamhouse and a standout year for the brand, we are thrilled to partner with HGTV and Ashley Graham to bring this new live action experience to life.”

Included in the suite of Barbie-themed releases this summer from Warner Bros. Discovery, Food Network will also be integrating Barbie-inspired elements into Summer Baking Championship, Beachside Brawl and The Kitchen while WBD social channels will offer exclusive behind-the-scenes content from Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge.
