FutureSoft Launches Home-User Version of Anti-Spyware Solution

HOUSTON, TX -- 11/22/2004 -- FutureSoft®, Inc., the Houston-based maker of the DynaComm i:series® Enterprise Content Security software family, today announced the launch of their home-user anti-spyware solution, DynaComm i:scan® Personal Edition.

This product uses the same proprietary technology as FutureSoft’s existing Enterprise Content Security solution, DynaComm i:scan, optimized for use on personal computers. A full content recognition database, using the same file signatures as the enterprise product, enables a “click-and-clean” process for home PC users to eliminate a broad range of damaging security threats.

DynaComm i:scan Personal Edition takes the same content security intelligence and scanning engine available in FutureSoft’s existing enterprise products and presents a simple, easy-to-use interface for home and small business users. These malware infections can cause decreased performance, a crashed system and, ultimately, compromised personal security, and that can lead to credit card fraud and even identity theft.
