Author Bio

Author Marquita Facen developed a passion for reading early in life. She learned about Sir Author Conan Doyle, the author of The Sherlock Holmes series, The Hardy Boys series, Nancy Drew series, and The Trixie Belden mysteries. She never got weary of reading them and attempting to figure out their made-up secrets. Her creative writing skills prompted her to produce short stories with suspenseful and mysterious plots. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in education and working as a teacher, she then went on to acquire a master’s degree in social work and worked as a social worker to assist low-income families. She has always been a storyteller and hopes that this journey will be the beginning of many. Marquita enjoys reading books of all types, crafts, and watching science fiction and horror films from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s.
