Leader in Speech Translation Changes Name
SUNNYVALE, Calif. - Sehda, Inc., the leading developer of two-way speech translation systems, has changed its name to Fluential, Inc.
The company decided to change its name to Fluential to better reflect its core mission – to develop innovative technology that eliminates language barriers and enables people who speak a different language to communicate.
“We decided to adopt Fluential as our new company name because it best describes the benefits our customers receive when they use our translation systems – they become fluent in a foreign language without having to spend years learning it,” explains the firm’s CEO Farzad Ehsani.
The company also adopted a new logo – an iconic speech signal. “We chose a speech signal as our new logo to reflect our continuing focus on technology to understand and interpret spoken language,” Ehsani adds. As part of the firm’s re-branding, Fluential also launched a new web site at www.fluentialinc.com.
