Cocoa Beach, FL – WEBWIRE

“The Safety” depicts Guy Finelli’s rise to superstardom after his youthful drug battle and his ongoing harassment from the elusive Baltimore drug lord, “The Turk.” His stratospheric ascent to fame as the best Safety to ever play football had to overcome the murder of his football hero Sean Taylor when he was thirteen. Young Guy was deeply affected by the sight of the unstoppable Taylor being killed while protecting his girlfriend and daughter, and he began to worry if he could be next.

As he takes on senseless killers, drug dealers, and everyday citizens in the streets, Guy Finelli develops into a superhero.

He seeks assistance from his half-brother Alex Santucci and sister-in-law Sally Keegan due to a personal tragedy and the birth of his daughter. Phillip Finelli is the same man’s father as Alex, who is fifteen years older. As a star baseball player for Washington, DC, he now focuses on advancing Guy’s career and safety. He serves as PE Fischetti’s major protagonist. “Hot in August,” the first book by PE Fischetti.
