ReadersMagnet Showcases John Osback’s Charming Children’s Book at the LibLearnX 2023

John Osback’s “Joey The Blue Monkey” easily captured participants’ attention as the children’s book was showcased by self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the recently concluded LibLearnX: The Library Learning Experience (LLX) 2023.

Formerly called American Library Association (ALA) Midwinter Meeting, the LibLearnX was held on January 27-30, 2023, at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, New Orleans. The event was attended by hundreds of attendees, all eager to celebrate the success of the library sector and support its advancement. Attendees, coming from the library community, the academe, and the general public, got the chance to interact with one another as they openly discussed the future of libraries and the communities they served. The LibLearnX featured various interactive programs, workshops, and award ceremonies, including forums, discussions, and speaking engagements from the big names in the library industry.

John Osback’s children’s book was displayed in the LibLearnX Marketplace, alongside other noteworthy publications and the latest technologies and services designed for libraries.

“Joey The Blue Monkey” is a true story based on the author’s experience. When John was four years old, his parents and grandfather took him to the San Diego Zoo. When they got to the monkeys’ section, John told his parents and grandfather that he had a blue monkey perched on top of his shoulder. This incident was never forgotten because John’s mother kept telling the story about John and his blue monkey for over 50 years. Hence, the result: a delightful book that kids of all ages will love.
