Miami, FL – WEBWIRE

It can be very difficult to try to achieve some peace of mind when you are dealing with internal battles and mental health issues. Although there is a wider space for discussion about these problems today, a lot of people still find it hard to open up about their fears, addiction, and loneliness and instead, resort to isolation and grief. “Imperfect Healing: A Meditation on Beginning Again in America” by Noah Micah Dorson weaves Buddhist practices of mindfulness and meditation, providing everyday strategies that can help readers improve their mental state and improve their well-being.

With the author’s conversational tone, one can be enlightened and entertained at the same time. The book incorporates both meditational insights as well as the author’s personal experience and learnings acquired from the Recovery Community. He poses an inspiration for those who are determined to let go of all the negativity that’s been hindering them from healing and beginning again. During the critical time of Noah’s life, he learned simple and yet significant things such as taking the time to breathe and slow down to prevent tension and stress from building up. This is but one of the several teaching centers that are easy to shut down.

Other valuable lessons to be learned include being more open to our imperfect and perfect self, working with social anxiety, relearning our basic goodness, rediscovering the spirit of self-care, and many more. “Imperfect Healing: A Meditation on Beginning Again in America” is Noah Micah Dorson’s call for you to take the initiative to improve aspects of your life for the better.
