Cornel A. Keeler’s “Our Field Trip – PG-13” was displayed by self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the 2023 LibLearnX: The Library Learning Experience on January 27-30, 2023, at New Orleans Earnest N. Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, Louisiana.

Is there anyone in this world afraid of change? “Our Field Trip – PG-13” shows how changes can significantly impact an individual’s development, especially in their emotional and mental aspects.

The book centers around a teacher who has moved to a new place and environment to start a new life and career. It also involves other characters who were also experiencing crises in the changes in their environment and the different factors that affected their behavior.

The author explains: “The story moves from the ordinary to the adventurous, as each major character exits the group mode and becomes individuals, exerting their gifts and talents for their own benefits.”

Cornel wants his readers to learn that adapting to changes is not always to their advantage. There is a thin line between being a victim or beneficiary of a new or different environment.

Author Bio

Cornel A. Keeler currently lives in Morgan City, Louisiana where he spent half of his adult life working in the oilfield. Other than writing, he has been involved in politics, sports, church, and Mardi Gras. He is an active member of the United Methodist Church and is an alumnus of Nicholls State University. Cornel is married to Wanda Martin of New Orleans and they have two daughters, Carmen and Tiffany.
