Bloomberg Women’s Buy-Side Network Brazil Updates Leadership

The Brazil Chapter of the Bloomberg Women’s Buy-Side Network (BWBN) announced its 2023 board of directors and new advisory council members. The group is focused on elevating women in the asset management industry.

The Brazil Chapter, created in 2021, has trained 50 young women in Python programming language and Bloomberg Quant development tools at a Bloomberg technology Bootcamp. Also, the group discussed CFA Certification and held mentoring sessions with female buy-side executives. The programs were led by the founding partners: Flavia Almeida, CEO, Península Partners; Tatiana Grecco, Risk Director, Itau Unibanco and Luciane Ribeiro, Founder and Principal Partner at 3V Capital Asset Management Ltd. The founding partners will continue their efforts as part of the new-created BWBN Brazil Advisory Council.

The new Brazil BWBN board of directors includes:

  • Milena Landgraf, Partner, Head of Asset Allocation at Itau Asset Management;
  • Vivian Murakoshi Lee, Managing Partner and Head of Credit at Ibiuna Investimentos;
  • Ana Luísa Rodela, CFA, Head of Credit at Bradesco Asset Management.


Responsible for Asset Allocation funds at Itaú Asset Management, Milena Landgraf has been working in the investment fund management industry for the retail, private, institutional and corporate segments for over 20 years. She also has experience in managing pension, fixed income, multimarket products and in recommending investments for retailers.

Graduated in Economics from the University of São Paulo, with a master’s degree from Fundação Getulio Vargas and specialization in Advanced Risk and Investment Management at the Yale School of Management (USA). Certified CPA-20 and CGA by Ambima (Brazilian Association of Financial and Capital Market Entities) and CFP by Planejar – Brazilian Association of Financial Planning.

Vivian Lee is partner, portfolio manager and credit strategies CIO at Ibiuna Investimentos since 2020.

From 2013 to 2020, she was a research analyst and co-portfolio manager of credit funds at Itau Asset Management (BRL 220 billion under management), where she played an active role in structuring private placement deals that amounted to BRL 20 billion over the years. Between 2007 and 2013,

Ms. Lee worked at Itaú BBA, where she started out coordinating the credit modeling area (2007-2010) and then joined the credit analysis team (2010-2013). From 2002 to 2007, she worked at Banco Santander’s products department, having participated in the launch of new products and structured transactions for the corporate segment. Vivian started her career at BankBoston in 2000 in the Credit and Capital Markets area (specialized industries).

She holds a Business Administration degree from FGV, a Graduate degree in Banking from Fundação Dom Cabral, a master’s degree in Finance from Insper and the CFA and CGA certifications.

Ana Luísa Rodela holds a degree in Business Administration from Mackenzie University. She began her career as a credit analyst at Santander Bank and in the past 15 years she has been working with credit in the capital markets, having worked at Itaú Unibanco Asset and BRZ Investimentos. Ms. Rodela joined the credit research team at Bradesco Asset Management in 2013. Currently, she is responsible for the analysis and management of corporate credit funds.

Brazil is one of seven chapters of BWBN, a global organization with groups in Australia & New Zealand, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Singapore and the United States (California).
Established in 2018, the BWBN is a community for women in the asset management industry, who hold a shared vision of building the next generation of female buy-side leaders
