Is the virtuous woman a dying breed? Reclaim Your Virtue 2007 says, she doesn’t have to be.

Inspired by the bible verse in Proverbs 31:10: “Who can find a virtuous woman", Reclaim Your Virtue 2007 is dedicated to women all over the nation who on one hand should be applauded for managing their gigantic to-do lists, but on the other, may have lost themselves somewhere underneath and need to “reclaim their virtue”.

Says, Ms. Price, “throughout my travels within and outside of the United States, I have met numerous churched and unchurched women alike who confess that although they love God and are very good at what they do, they feel sad, unfulfilled, resentful, unappreciated and are just plain old exhausted and beat up.” I am concerned that with stress-related diseases such as hypertension, stomach disorders, heart disease, and others, virtuous women may be a dying breed.”

“While we commit to nurture, heal and faithfully serve loved ones, the root of bitterness springs up and robs us from receiving any personal enjoyment out of our lives, period. We often approach our lives as workhorses and as such are treated by others in the same way. Our loved ones do not mean to take advantage of us, but it is a fact that even loved ones unknowingly respond in accordance with whatever we project. If we are enablers, we will be left to do our part and everyone else’s part as well. That’s why we are exhausted. This ought not to be the case”.

The virtuous woman in the bible was a happy, fulfilled woman. Yes, she was busy; but, she was not overwhelmed. There is a huge difference between the two. "I believe we are in this state as a result of misunderstandings over the parameters of our roles in marriage, relationships, motherhood, etc. For some of us, the problem begins and ends when we step outside of the bible to define what a good or virtuous woman is.”

One of the goals of Reclaiming Your Virtue 2007 is to challenge women to establish order in their lives while also showing that it is possible to experience unspeakable joy while serving others without neglecting their callings, ministries, spiritual, physical, social and emotional needs.

Reclaiming Your Virtue 2007 will address issues such as:

• How to get through to a rebellious child
• How to establish order in the home
