Hume Community Selects “Before You” as Metastar angelbaby’s Second Album Single

Hume, a Web3 entertainment company pushing the boundaries of virtual artists and music, recently announced the selection of angelbaby’s second album single, “Before You.” The release was chosen by the fans on Hume’s platform, The Spot, and subsequently, one week later, fans purchased 233 Before You Music NFTs on the platform.

Chart-topping, web3 artist angelbaby, is the first of many metastars – a metaverse-native, virtual music artist who blurs the lines between the digital and physical worlds. In 2022, angelbaby released their first fan-decided single, “All Gold Spaceship,” and performed at Art Basel, FLUF Haus LA, and SXSW.

In Dec. 2022, Hume announced the curation of angelbaby’s first album, Clio, by holders of Hume Genesis NFTs. Otherside ft. Gino The Ghost will be the first track on the album.

Approximately 34% of fans voted in The Spot, ultimately choosing “Before You” as angelbaby’s second album single. The Jan. 26 NFT sale grossed 5.36 ETH.

angelbaby’s singles will soon be available on streaming platforms including Spotify, TikTok, Youtube, Spotify, Amazon Music and more.

The news comes on the heels of Hume announcing they signed with leading entertainment and sports agency, Creative Artists Agency (CAA). CAA will help Hume identify and create opportunities across a variety of areas, including licensing and merchandising, brand partnerships, live events, film, and television and more.
