“There is no thing too big, too foolish, or too hard for Him. Run as fast as you can into His arms and don’t look back.” Bobbie J. McLaren

The book “The Sounds at River’s Edge: True Stories of Growing Up on the Intracoastal Waterway” by Bobbie J. McLaren will be exhibited by self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at The London Book Fair 2023 on April 18-20, 2023, at Olympia London, Hammersmith Road, London W14 8UX UK.

“The Sounds at River’s Edge” shares a collection of inspiring and entertaining tales of youth that readers will definitely find relatable and make them reminisce about their childhood.

Before technology became fully advanced, there existed a world where going on an adventure was one of the most treasured prizes for everyone, especially children. Playing outside the house was what most kids in the past wanted while staying inside was sheer punishment for them.

In this book, the author recalls her mischievous shenanigans during her childhood and teenage years with her childhood friends and cousins from the 1950s to 1960s. Although most stories are hilarious and some are heartbreaking, each story still offers important life lessons for everyone.
