The Fate of the World Hangs in the Balance

A woman’s personal quest turns into a race against time for herself and humanity.

Santa Cruz, California – WEBWIRE

A homicide that triggers a series of events will cause two worlds to collide. A woman awakens with no memory and tries to piece together her past—until her personal quest becomes a race against time as a dark legend threatens to become all too real, leaving the fate of the world hanging in the balance.

“Beware of the dead woman. She will bring you nothing but sorrow”—the words released by a gaunt child, no older than eight, with haunting eyes. Before Detective Stephen Ramos could probe further, the child had run away.

Michael S. Ripley was born in the Monterey Bay Area of Central California in an age before cell phones and home computers. His formative years were heavily influenced by dinosaurs, Ray Bradbury, Avalon Hill Wargames, J. R. R. Tolkien, “Dungeons & Dragons,” Godzilla, and H. P. Lovecraft. Michael served for four years in the US Army before earning a four-year degree in European history with a minor in military history. He works for the Santa Cruz Public Library for 30 years and counting. He loves spending time with his partner, Caroline, or playing games with his current RPG group.

“All’s Forgotten Now” is Michael’s first book and is a fast-paced, action-packed novel with plot twists that the classic mystery aficionado will enjoy. If you’re a fan of the horror / crime / action / urban fantasy genre, it will be your delight to have his book in your hands.

Michael’s “All’s Forgotten Now” is available worldwide through Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and major retailers around the globe.
