Dr. Bozarth Provides Us with Company and Comfort as We Journey Through Grief

Sandy, Oregon – WEBWIRE

Grief can be an awful journey, but it is a process each of us must inevitably go through in life. When it happens, what can we actually do to move through it without being overcome or paralyzed by it? Alla Renee Bozarth Ph.D. Offers comforting and useful assurance in “A Journey Through Grief: Gentle, Specific Help to Get You Through the Most Difficult Stages of Grieving,” an ever-relevant book meant for all.

With the author’s personal and first-hand experience with grief, “A Journey through Grief” is not a typical publication filled with practical and professional advice. Instead, it offers a shoulder for those who struggle to navigate their way through grief. It possesses the tone of empathy from a friend who is always ready to listen. It provides the readers with a sense of companionship as they also learn how to get through the process as it gradually unfolds.

In the first few pages, Dr. Bozarth speaks of real courage and its role in overcoming grief. She defines real courage as admitting we are appropriately frightened, even as we begin to be able to gather strength and help from both outside and within ourselves, to go ahead to do what needs to be done so that we may successfully make our way toward recovery. The book is so effective in elaborating these steps and meeting its genuine purpose that it can be widely used in psychotherapy, counseling, pastoral care, and self-help along with its larger, more detailed companion book, “Life is Goodbye/ Life is Hello: Grieving Well through All Kinds of Loss.”

There may be no easy way to get rid of the hollow feeling of grief, but you could start with this: Let “A Journey Through Grief” make you feel received and comforted as you mend your broken heart.
