“The Two Sides of Being Single” is an inspirational guidebook for all single Christians. Marriage is a gift from God and is considered a sacred union of two people who vowed to love each other. However, everyone should know that being single is also a blessing from God.

The author explains: “Jesus came into the world to ‘save His people from their sins.’ The blood He shed for us at the Calvary is enough to redeem people from all of their sins. Also, His blood cleans us and makes us pure. As a result of His work on the cross, His grace and mercy are reserved for single and married people alike.”

God loves single Christians just as much as He loves married ones. He will never judge a person according to their marital status. It doesn’t matter to Him whether His people are single or married. As long as they serve Him with all of their heart and deepen their faith in Him, He gladly blesses them and pours out all His mercy and grace. This book breaks the stereotype of seeing marriage as a requirement in the Christian life.

Wayne Drayton currently serves as church deacon and adult Sunday school teacher at The Biblical House of God church in North Charleston, South Carolina. He decided to enjoy living a single Christian life so he can stay close to God and do His will. Drayton is also employed at the Charleston Naval Base as a government contractor for over 10 years. He sincerely hopes his book will be a tremendous blessing to single individuals whether they choose to stay single or marry.
