Okma’s “Living in the Promises” will be exhibited by self-publishing company ReadersMagnet at the LibLearnX: The Library Learning Experience (LLX) 2023 this coming January 27-30, 2023, at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, Louisiana, and is open to ALA members and non-members.

This library conference, considered the most important library event for the year in Louisiana, is expected to gather hundreds of attendees from the library and academic community. Attendees will participate in special programs, exhibitions, forums, interactive learning workshops, and discussions. “Living in the Promises” will be among the notable published works to be displayed at the exhibition space, LibLearnX Marketplace.

In an ever changing world, Tamara L. Okma’s book is that much-needed guide to understanding what it means to be loved by God. She states that people do not need to prove themselves or work harder to be worthy of God’s love and promises. Instead, they need to understand that they have already been given these promises. Tamara has spent over twenty-five years on her journey to discover the promises of God. As she saw a transformation in her life, it became her heart’s desire to share what she had learned to help others. Tamara has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hope College and a Diploma in Biblical studies from Charis Bible College. She enjoys her life in Michigan with her husband, Matt, and their two daughters, Elizabeth and Tori.
