ReadersMagnet will feature Vanester M. Williams’s Christian novel at 2023 LibLearnX: The Library Learning Experience (LLX) this coming January 27 to 30, 2023. Titled “The Girl From Chapel Hill: Her Journey of Faith, Forgiveness, and Freedom,” the book follows a captivating and suspenseful tale of a woman named Laura who wants to break free from a frightening past.
The library conference will take place at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. It will feature hands-on workshops, speaking engagements, displays, and award ceremonies, all intended to promote the future of libraries and their communities.
“The Girl From Chapel Hill” revolves around the life of Laura, who grew up never knowing her father. Years later, an incident with a stranger would change her life and prompt her to question her identity. Meanwhile, she carries a painful load of a haunting secret, concealed unforgiveness, and low self-esteem.
Laura found faith, hope, love, and forgiveness as she went from victim to victor toward freedom. Despite living a life full of ups and downs, one thing never changes—God’s ever-loving presence—at every turning point in Laura’s life. Williams’s book will introduce its readers to a heart-tugging tale of faith and forgiveness. Those who have read the book find it page-turning and inspirational.
