Max Teran was born in Chapultepec, Municipality of Tlalchapa, Guerrero, Mexico, on May 29, 1962. His parents are Telesforo Teran Hernandez and Anacleta Estrada Neri. Max was his parents’ second son. His home, although poor, was very blessed. At the age of fourteen, he came to the United States. In 1987, he met his wife, Nathalia Olivarez Teran, and they married on January 28, 1989.

There began his task of procreating a healthy family. His first daughter, Balance Esmeralda Teran, was born in December 1989, followed by Nehemias Teran in November 1990, Jerusalem Cristal Teran in May 1993, Genesis Celeste Teran in December 1995, and Jonathan David Teran in September 1998.
