Author Bio
Allen Bontrager was born and raised in North-central Indiana. He was the eighth of fourteen children, so he started working and helping on the dairy farm at a young age. He began assisting with the cow milking and clean-up by age seven. Young Allen also helped operate tractors and work in the fields at the age of eleven.

After graduating from Bethany Christian High School in Goshen, Indiana, Allen spent two years studying at Eastern Mennonite College (EMC) in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where he met his wife. Three years after they wed, a girl was born, and another three years after, a boy. The couple raised their children in Eastern Pennsylvania.

After relocating to Arizona in 1997 and working in the aviation sector for 20 years, Allen Bontrager retired from American Airlines. He is residing in Casa Grande, Arizona, during his retirement.
