The Joseph Family Foundation Hosts ‘Betting Against Climate Displacement’ Casino Night Benefit Gala In Nashville, Tennessee

Nashville, Tennessee, USA – WEBWIRE

The Joseph Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization rooted in authenticity, compassion, optimism, and morality in seeking opportunities to enrich and encourage the prosperity of people, places, and ultimately those in need across the United States and globally, proudly announces its inaugural ‘Betting Against Climate Displacement Casino Night’.

The event is to be held on Friday, January 27th at 14TENN in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Joseph Family Foundation is hosting this night of glitz, glamour, and gambling to raise funds, awareness and support for the critically-important mission of the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) – A leading and globe-spanning legal aid and advocacy organization led by 2,100 volunteers from across 29 law schools in the U.S. and Canada and pro bono attorneys from dozens of international law firms and multinational corporations. IRAP seeks to create a world where refugees and all people seeking safety are empowered to claim the right to freedom of movement and a path to sustainable living.

IRAP’s climate displacement program ultimately seeks to expand legal protections for all displaced by climate ramifications and to create a domestic and international framework to assist the estimated 1.2 billion individuals who are forecast to be displaced by climate in the next 25 years alone.

Delicious food, hand-crafted beverages, and Vegas-themed music and entertainment will also be on-offer for all who attend.

Sophie Joseph, President of The Joseph Family Foundation, stated that, “Supporting the urgent cases and addressing the long-term systemic issues of the thousands here in the United States and millions globally impacted by climate change is part and parcel of the empowerment and hands-on oriented mission of The Joseph Family Foundation. We look forward to carrying out that mission in style at 14TENN and I encourage our fellow Nashville citizens and those beyond our borders to make the trip for an unforgettable experience in support of a terrific cause”.

Tickets are available via Eventbrite here. To donate, please visit here. Sponsorship opportunities are additionally available here.

“We thank you in advance for your role in addressing this important cause, one that impacts too many, often quietly and unreported, here in the United States and globally. Taking on climate change and supporting those it impacts requires an all-of-society approach and we are privileged to do our part to sustain and strengthen the important work of IRAP and those who steward it,” Joseph concluded.
