J.E Starks-Brown Gently Reminds Us of Our Eternal Destiny in Book, “Remember Eternity”

Life is eternal. It does not only end after death. However, we often disregard this notion as we become more preoccupied with our present life. “Remember Eternity” by J.E Starks-Brown aims to set us that reminder, as it looks into the lives of not-so-ordinary people and how they stay focused on the spiritual and the eternal in the present-day setting.

J.E Starks-Brown draws inspiration in her Christian life. The author was born and raised in the bible belt city of Indianapolis, Indiana. She started to spark interest in writing at the young age of fourteen, sitting down in her high school study hall where she started her first book, “Remember Eternity.” It was 1968, the year where her first publication began. Forty eight years later, in 2016, she took a leap of faith and self-published the first book, which eventually kicked off the Remember Eternity Series.

The composition of her books is fueled by her rich life experiences, which is reflected in the fictional characters of the book. The plot revolves around an extended family living in the city of Des Moines, Iowa. Specifically, the family of Frances Michaels, her son and daughters, and their spouses. In the book, readers witness how they overcome the hardships, challenges, and sensitive issues through spiritual principles. “Remember Eternity” teaches us to go beyond what we see with our natural and carnal minds, in which we will realize that we have an eternal destiny to prepare for.
