Author Charles Eben Johns takes readers on an enlightening spiritual quest by sharing his uplifting story.

San Diego, California – WEBWIRE

Charles Eben Johns intends for readers to find a way to deal with all things in life, good, bad, or neutral, through the stories in this book.

Charles Eben Johns published his spiritual book, “On Earth, as it is in Heaven,” which is a transcription of the author’s journal kept in late 2009, all through 2010, and into early 2011. For him and his loved ones, this was a period of great peril.

However, despite all that, it was also the best time of his life. In the midst of his despair, God revealed the power of gratitude and its practical application, illuminating the truth that trials of a personal nature can be enormous opportunities for triumph. In this manner, the author was able to transform a traumatic experience into one of the most important times in his life. He refers to that summer as “the summer of life.”

Charles Eben Johns wrote this collection of short stories so that his readers might learn to deal with anything life threw at them, whether good, bad, or indifferent.

Author
Eben Johns is an aging carpenter from Amarillo, Texas; no impressive accolades here. He was in the Indian hospital in Stella, Missouri. He is self-educated from a reading list of books that he came up with; when he was reading 12 100 books, it took him ten years to read.

Mr. Johns graduated high school in Northwest Wyoming. He spent time in college in Colorado in the late seventies (mostly partying). He was privileged to meet a beautiful young Polish girl from Saint Paul in 1981, who is now his wife and the love of his life. He converted to Catholicism (he was raised Baptist).

He loves to study applied history, play golf, smoke cigars, and catch trout. Mr. Johns attributes his faith in God to Mrs. Bertha Johns, my grandmother, the best Southern Baptist woman who ever lived. Mrs. Bertha told Mr. Johns the year before she died in 1997 that she had prayed for him for thirty minutes a day for forty years. Thanks to his grandma.
