Mark A. Handy’s Profound Book Gears Up for LibLearnX: The Library Learning Experience 2023

Mark A. Handy catches readers’ attention and puts them at the edge of their seats with his suspenseful story that details courage and revolt.

“Mark A. Handy’s debut novel is fast-paced and well-dramatized. With the president’s rescinding of individual rights, it could also satisfy the wildest expectations of conspiracy theorists.” – Christine Wald-Hopkinsch, Arizona Daily Star, April 2, 2016.

The speculative fiction book “Freedom Lost” by Mark A. Handy is all set to be displayed by self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at LibLearnX: The Library Learning Experience on January 27–30, 2023, at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, LA.

“Freedom Lost” is a gripping and enlightening book that takes readers on a journey into the world of battles and liberties. It tells a story about Lawrence Lording, who, having won the Presidency of the United States in a three-party race, has suspended the Constitution and dissolved Congress.

The USA is now a dictatorship. A group of people in southern Arizona take a stand against Lording at Cochise Stronghold in the Dragoon Mountains, and Lording responds with a tactical nuclear weapon. Mason William (aka “Grizz”) Wallace is the only survivor of the attack, and he plans to exact revenge for the deaths of his friends by starting a nationwide rebellion. After learning of an underground movement in Chicago, Wallace travels there to join it.

Brilliant author Mark A. Handy wrote this book with no political bias, and his sequel is coming soon.

Mark A. Handy, author of “Freedom Lost,” was raised in a military family. His father was career Army so Mark travelled quite a bit, from Georgia to Chicago and much of western Europe. His family finally settled in Sierra Vista, Az, in southeastern Arizona. Mark spends his time between his Tucson home and his family in Sierra Vista.

From his own service in the Army, he gained an appreciation for the liberties so often taken for granted by Americans today. To try and awaken a valuation of these inalienable rights in his readers, he wrote “Freedom Lost” with no political bias. “How would the American people react?” was his premise. His sequel, currently underway, continues to seek the answer.
