SALT LAKE CITY (March 16, 2007)-Sorenson Communications™, the leading provider of Video Relay Services (VRS) for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals who use American Sign Language (ASL), today announced its fourth annual sponsorship of DeafNation Expo. DeafNation Expo, hosted in 12 major cities across the United States through mid-November, will showcase local and national vendors and businesses that market diverse products and services to the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Attendees will enjoy exhibitor demonstrations, workshops, live entertainment, and educational activities for children. Admission to all 12 expos is free.

“Past DeafNation Expo participation has allowed Sorenson Communications to introduce many deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals to the benefits of Sorenson VRS®, which is literally revolutionizing communication for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals who use American Sign Language,” notes Pat Nola, president and CEO of Sorenson Communications. “Outreach through these kinds of events supports our goal of delivering real-time communication access to deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals throughout the nation. We are pleased to be a part of DeafNation Expo this year.”
