Author Bio

Dr. H. Lincoln Douglas got his doctorate in Adult Education from Northern Illinois University, a Master of Arts in Arts Entertainment and Media Management from Columbia College Chicago, and BA degrees in Mass Comm and CE from Wheaton College, Illinois. He is a training, development, and community specialist and a cultural scientist. He is also the founder of OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE by dADI, a consulting organization, which has a mission of creating high-performing organizations.

Dr. Douglas also served in the Trinidad and Tobago Parliament, including the Ministry of Social Development, and became the Minister of Arts and Multiculturalism. In addition to his many academic accomplishments and career milestones, Dr. Douglas is also a successful storyteller and writer. He has just completed his third book in a series Datrina, a socio-political sci-fi fantasy trilogy. He is an expert in African drumming and has taught drum making and playing to several communities across the Caribbean and North America.
