empowerHER® is thrilled and grateful to announce a transformational contribution of one million dollars from Fox Rock Foundation. Fox Rock foundation is the private family foundation established by Karen and Rob Hale, and their children, Trevor, Thomas, and Brett, to inspire health in our communities and our environment and create more opportunity for everyone.

Founded by Cara Belvin in 2013, empowerHER serves this community of young women and girls by providing complimentary access to group events and retreats designed to create a supportive environment and pairs girls in a 1:1 mentor program with positive role models from the community, many of whom have themselves experienced this profound loss.

Headquartered in Norwell, Massachusetts, empowerHER was formed in 2013 by Cara Belvin with a very specific mission—to empower, support and connect girls and young women who have experienced the loss of their mothers at an early age.
