Jacques LaFrance’s Book Invites Readers To a Look at What Heaven Is About

“Heaven Is Beyond Imagination” is Dr. Jacques LaFrance’s take on describing heaven based on testimonies of 50 published eyewitnesses. Dr. Jacques LaFrance is a retired computer science professor who has used his research expertise to extract comparisons of eyewitness testimonies of heaven and hell. The author
became a follower of Jesus as a freshman at Harvard University and was active throughout the rest of his undergraduate and graduate work in InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.

In the 1970s, he was introduced to George Ritchie’s Return from Tomorrow and Maurice Rawlings’ Beyond Death’s Door. Dr. LaFrance came up with “Heaven Is Beyond Imagination” to create a more detailed overview of what Heaven is like in all of its features.

Author Bio

Dr. Jacques LaFrance became a follower of Jesus as a freshman at Harvard University. He was active in InterVarsity Christian Fellowship throughout the rest of his undergraduate and graduate work. After completing his Ph. D. in computer science, he taught at Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois, at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and finally in the master’s program at Oklahoma State University, Tulsa campus.

In the 1970’s he was introduced to George Ritchie’s Return from Tomorrow and Maurice Rawlings’ Beyond Death’s Door. He conceived the idea of this book to create a thorough overview of what heaven is like in all of its features by putting together different authors’ descriptions of each feature. He currently lives in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and is a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa.
