‘Milk & Honey Baseball’ Launches In Nashville, Tennessee

To be managed from Nashville, Tennessee, the latest division of Milk & Honey Music + Sports + Ventures “…signals the further integration of sports and athletes across the broader entertainment spectrum,” suggests Forbes Magazine.

Milk & Honey Baseball will be led by athletic industry veteran, Kyle Thousand, who previously served as Roc Nation Sports’ first-ever Managing Director for baseball.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the Milk & Honey family,” Thousand told Forbes, during a recent interview. “It became apparent that we shared the same vision to create a truly unique, boutique baseball division that is focused on providing clients with elite servicing, unparalleled contract negotiation and helping clients maximize their opportunity in baseball, both on and off the field.”

The launch of Milk & Honey Baseball comes two years after the company entered the sports arena by launching a football agency, one that now counts 18 NFL athletes, including Courtland Sutton (Denver Broncos), Damien Wilson (Carolina Panthers) and Damiere Byrd (Atlanta Falcons) under their banner.

“We’ve been discussing expansion into other sports ever since we opened Milk & Honey’s football division. Today, we show our fast commitment to opening baseball as another exciting chapter in Milk & Honey Sports, and the company’s steadfast goal of becoming a broader entertainment company beyond music,” added Lucas Keller, Founder of Milk & Honey, during the Forbes interview. Keller founded Milk & Honey in 2014 and has grown its roster to include songwriters, producers, DJs and artists, including Justin Bieber, Megan Thee Stallion, Chloe, Doja Cat, Drake and Post Malone, across A&R, media, and TV and film licensing.

The city of Nashville has notably hosted every SEC men’s basketball tournament since 1993; in 2019, the city played host to the National Football League (NFL) annual draft; and to-date, its Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon and Music City Bowl are each nationally recognized as milestones in the athletic calendar.
