“Imagine Song’s” story revolves around a young pianist girl named Melody. Melody was already formally trained in playing the piano. One day, out of nowhere, she suddenly discovered that she had a natural and intuitive ability to write music. In a beautiful turn of events, Melody started writing her own music and found the courage to play her music in public.

Author Melissa Campesi aimed to create a positive impact, especially with her young readers. Aside from being a children’s book writer, Melissa is a certified ESL educator in New Jersey. Inspired by literature, music, and culture, she is also the founder of the Cross-Cultural Storytelling Project.

Author Melissa Campesi, a certified ESL educator, is also the creator & founder of the Cross-Cultural Storytelling Project. Her other written work is a nonfiction children’s book entitled, “I am an English-Language Learner-The Real and Unique Stories of Immigrant Children in America.” Melissa currently lives in New Jersey with her family, and enjoys writing poetry and music, hosting gatherings, being out in nature, and going on spontaneous road trips to new places with her family.
