Hume Community Invited to Curate Tracks of Metastar angelbaby’s Early 2023 Debut Album

In early 2023, angelbaby’s new music will be available on all platforms including Spotify, TikTok, Youtube, Spotify, Amazon Music and more

Voting for angelbaby’s second official single opens for Hume Genesis holders on January 11, 2023. This is the first time that an artist’s fans will make real-time tracklist decisions.

The Hume team is comprised of former songwriters and producers with over 2B streams for artists like Selena Gomez, G-Eazy, Saweetie, Dua Lipa, and Demi Lovato

LOS ANGELES, CA – WEBWIRE

Hume, a web3 entertainment company creating virtual artists, recently announced the curation of angelbaby’s first album, Clio, by holders of Hume Genesis NFTs. The album will provide an exclusive experience to fans, bringing them deeper into the music selection process and enabling a groundbreaking new way of releasing music.

Chart-topping, web3 artist and Fluf World star, angelbaby, is the first of many metastars – a metaverse-native, virtual music artist who blurs the lines between the digital and physical worlds. Earlier this year, Hume Genesis NFTs holders voted on “All Gold Spaceship” as angelbaby’s next single, marking the first time a single was chosen via fan voting within the Hume platform.

Fans will be able to participate in the album curation process through a series of episodes called Worlds Apart: An Angelbaby and Clio Story. These episodes will be released every Tuesday and Thursday, designed to help fans connect with angelbaby’s story and introduce Clio, Hume’s next metastar. At the end of each season, Genesis holders will enter The Spot and listen to two unreleased tracks. They will then vote on which track should be released as a single and eventually, which tracks will make it onto the album. The first season finale and Hume Collective Decision will be on January 11, 2023.

The first episode of “Worlds Apart” was released in The Spot on December 6, 2022

“At Hume, we believe in a future filled with metastars and fans guiding them along the way,” Jay Stolar, Hume co-founder and Chief Artist Officer. “The next two months is the first time we’re really bringing it all together. We’re proud of all of angelbaby’s releases so far, but the next year is about elevating and taking things to a whole new level.”

Otherside ft. Gino The Ghost will be the first track on the album. All of angelbaby’s new and existing music will soon be available on streaming platforms including Spotify, TikTok, Youtube, Spotify, Amazon Music and more. “Otherside” is expected to arrive on mainstream platforms by February 2023.

[b"[/b]It’s happening,” said David Beiner, co-founder and CEO of Hume. “This year we’ve proved that fans are capable as co-producers. Bringing angelbaby’s tracks to the most popular content distribution platforms is a celebration of our ever-increasing reach. Now we’re taking it up a level, bringing audience-first discography to angelbaby’s fans. This is an incredibly important moment for the music industry and for our community.”

Angelbaby’s new album is inspired by his complex world of emotions around love, loss, and his dynamic relationship with Clio, his departed soulmate. Genesis holders and fans can expect to learn more about angel and Clio’s relationship in “Worlds Apart.” Episodes will be deeply personal, providing the narrative for fans to make story-driven decisions about angelbaby’s new releases.

Traditionally, artists, management, and record labels were in control of choosing lead singles and album tracks. Hume is opening up the opportunity for fans to go behind closed doors and directly decide the artist’s future. Fans and followers are also invited to support the mission of making angelbaby an iconic artist and generation-defining metastar by sharing the episodes, deciding on songs, and showing support online for angel’s music.
