“Change is the only constant thing in this world.”

San Diego, CA, USA – WEBWIRE

“The way we get to know ourselves is through suffering.”

The book “Tai Chi Mind: Revised” by William H. Koar was exhibited by ReadersMagnet at the New York Library Association (NYLA) 2022 Annual Conference & Trade Show last November 3-4, 2022, at the Saratoga Springs City Center, Saratoga Springs, New York.

As a long-time Tai Chi practitioner and psychologist, William aims to help the readers have a deep understanding of life span development or life in general in the practice of Tai Chi Chuan.

The author discusses the connection between the two factors: life span development and tai chi. Life span development belongs to the greater field of human development. It studies how humans learn, mature, and adapt from infancy to adulthood until they reach their senior years. Tai Chi, on the other hand, is a famous martial art that involves a series of slow gentle movements and physical postures which helps people be in their meditative state of mind and control their breathing.

With the help of his teacher, Daniel Yu Wang, William believes that he has the wisdom to help people jump out from the loop of self-created suffering. The contrasting opinions or perceptions of these two makes the book an interesting read.

“Tai Chi Mind” makes readers evaluate and look at their journey from birth to death and the challenges they face along the way. This book will discuss more about life span development from multiple perspectives and how a person should respond to every challenge they face.
