Darcele Robinson Publishes Second Book “Kaygan’s Adventure: Surprise at 5” After “Save Silly Millie”

Author Darcele Marie Robinson lives in Flint Michigan. She has been married for 30 years to her high school sweetheart, Kenneth Robinson Sr., and they have three children: two boys (Kenneth and Kaleb) and a daughter (Khyra). Darcele has spontaneously worked in the community with her nonprofit organization, Love Foundation, which was established in 2015. Her children’s book “Kaygan’s Adventure: Surprise at 5” (Solease Barner; 2022) is dedicated to her granddaughter, Kaygan Melena Tyce, and her goddaughters, Ariyah Nicholson and Amariana Dantzler.

“Kaygan’s Adventure: Surprise at 5” is the second installment of Kaygan’s Adventure series. The story revolves around a little girl named Kaygan who is waiting for her 5th birthday. The book narrates what Kaygan has been thinking while anticipating the birthday party that her nana or grandmother will throw for her. The child is very expectant and is dreaming a lot of things that she hopes to happen at her party.

“Kaygan’s Adventure” inspires every child to dream big dreams and that they deserve to experience the birthday party that they have always been dreaming of.
The author impressively writes the narration in rhyming words that makes the book even more fun to read, especially for children who are 3 years and older. It feels like the readers are reading a book filled with poems accompanied by adorable illustrations.

Darcele Marie Cole-Robinson, AAS. BSW, lives in Flint Michigan. She is a graduate of Flint Northern High School, Class of 1984 and she graduated with her BSW from the University of Michigan-Flint. Darcele is now attending the University of Kentucky where she is pursuing her Master’s in Social Work and Clinicals. She has been married for 30 years to her highschool sweetheart, Kenneth Robinson Sr., and they have three children; two boys (Kenneth and Kaleb) and a daughter (Khyra). Darcele has spontaneously worked in the community with her nonprofit organization, Love Foundation, which was established in 2015.
