East Coast’s Largest State Library Association Conference Will Feature Katie Taylor Wyman’s Book

The encouraging nonfiction book “You Don’t Need 10” by Katie Taylor Wyman will be available on display by ReadersMagnet at the New York Library Association 2022 Annual Conference and Trade Show on November 3–4, 2022, at Saratoga Springs City Center at 522 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

In “You Don’t Need 10,” a mother shares the genuine story of her life with Paisley, her amazing little lady who was born with only one hand. It is the inspiring tale of how God’s grace and one kid’s extraordinary impact changed the world.

The message of God is made clear in this true story. It’s not bad or weird to be different. Since God fashions each person uniquely, there is a specific reason for everyone to exist. The point of Paisley is to demonstrate that a lack of a perfect set of fingers should not limit one’s potential for innovation and achievement.

Katie Taylor Wyman was born to Donnette and Douglas Taylor in Williston, ND. She grew up in Williston, graduated from high school there, and then attended college at North Dakota State University. In 2006, she married Russell Wyman. They have three biological children, Jeten (11), Paisley (10), and Maverick (5), and they are currently foster parents to a teenager; they have fostered many children over the course of their six-and-a-half years.

She works part-time making maps for oil companies and also works part-time for Elkhorn Financial. She has written a book about her daughter’s limb difference and blogs weekly about the life of Paisley.

She also sells jewelry and accessories as a hobby when she gets time. Katie is a Make A Wish volunteer for ND, a board member for Upper Missouri Ministries Bible Camp, and an avid volunteer at her church, Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church of Williston. A child of God trying to bring inspiration to many.
