Reverend Errol Narain Shares His Enlightened Sermonic Essays That Respond Directly to Personal and Collective Crises in Today’s World

IL, USA – WEBWIRE

“Liminal Sermons: Essay Worth Living” is a spiritual journey against the long tradition of toxic, flawed, failed institutional religion. The book’s twenty-one sermonic essays respond to current life issues raised by those profoundly concerned about a world coming apart at the seams. The writings carefully identify and analyze the problems before proposing healing possibilities for a sick world.

“Liminal relates to a transitional or initial stage of a process.” This process includes deep reflection, unlearning, learning, openness to new information, and the discovery of strategic applications for personal transformation and societal change. Life’s experiences-confusion, dilemmas, trauma, and death- routinely catapult one into a dark liminal space. The patient, alert learner who remains in the process of letting go of the old, and welcoming the new, find the portal of enlightenment for personal transformation and a new way of living in this world. This novel will lead the reader to the universal God within and immense grace for knowledge, wisdom, compassionate love of neighbor, and justice for peace in the world.

The first part deals with dying, rising to a new way of living in God, and solidarity with neighbors. The middle focuses on the shadow side of humans, unaware of the God within and the flawed systems of Ego’s creation. Next, the author socially analyses the systems and structures that embody the cause of social unrest and destruction of society and the planet. Next, he proposes answers for a life lived in love that includes justice for the sake of peace. Finally, the conclusion provides the key to successful conscious living with conscience, letting go of the grand illusory productions of the Ego’s mind in this transitory world.

This work of art is compelling evidence of God’s love. “God is so immense that if God were ’too visible,’ people would give forced compliance without expressing their heart. So God made it possible, in enormous love, for us to live as if God were not there.” – John Ortberg

This book is worth turning page by page. It is worth sharing with family and friends.
