Pure Biofuels Confirms Callao Port Capacity at Fifty Million Gallons
LOS ANGELES - Pure Biofuels (OTCBB:PBOF) has confirmed its decision to increase its planned capacity at its primary Callao Port facility near the capital city of Lima, Peru. Consisting of three 17.5 million gallon per year modules, the facility will be capable of an annual production capacity of 52.5 million gallons of biodiesel per year. The plant is being built on a 47,000-square-meter parcel of waterfront land located a short distance from the La Pampilla Refinery, one of Peru’s largest oil refineries.
Pure Biofuels has provided names of the construction company contracted to build the refinery and the engineering firm designing the facility. Veteran Peruvian engineering firm, Polindustria, has been hired as General Contractor and Capricorn Chemical Engineering SA will provide basic engineering, process flow design, and instrumentation and control schematics. Both companies have many years worth of experience in infrastructure projects such as Pure Biofuels is planning.
"We are extremely pleased with the team we have pulled together for our primary facility and we’re very confident in our plans to establish Pure Biofuels as one of South America’s true leaders in alternative energy production" stated Mr. Goyzueta. "With a 50 million gallon per year facility, Pure Biofuels can make a significant impact on the amount of diesel fuel used in Peru, and, more importantly, we can help contribute to the energy independence of all of South America"
