Darlington, Ph.D., is a writer, life skills/self-empowerment coach, and a retired associate college professor who has dedicated her life to helping others reach their greatest potential. She received a Master’s degree in Mass Communication and Public Relations and a Doctorate in Communication and Cognitive Psychology from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida. She authored numerous books and some of her recent books are “The Revolution: A Transformative Path to Wholeness Using the Power of the Mind,” and the award-winning “You Can’t Get to Heaven Wearing Tight Shoes: A Book About Personal Honesty.” She has presented numerous workshops across the United States, Hawaii, and West Africa on the value of diversity, personal empowerment, and the power of women.
Dr. Darlington is an Ordained Non-Denominational Minister and is the mother of three: Bashir, Rolda, and Headley III. She lives in South Florida with her husband Headley II.
