“Why Donald Trump in 2024” by Jay Mostel is a political humor book filled with short stories embedded with a subliminal message. The author has been a Trump devotee since 2016. One may infer from the book’s title and author that it is jocular, with Donald Trump and his government as the main targets. Writing about the 45th president of the United States is no easy feat, let alone doing it with a dash of satire, yet Mostel did it brilliantly.

Republicans who seek a repeat of the red wave in 2021 should get excited about this book. Republicans under former president Donald Trump have a lot to gain since people are tired of the policies of the Biden administration. Additionally, more candidates of people of color are running for office under the GOP.

The way Mostel portrays Trump is surprisingly accurate. Hence, reading the book is soothing and amusing rather than terrifying. “Why Donald Trump in 2024” is an easy, fun read that works well for a day or two. Mostel does have a way with words. It is an excellent read for anyone who enjoys dark humor and looking at politics from a new perspective.

The book is a must-read for Republicans, including Trump supporters and allies. In its final chapter, the book asks: “What’s Next?” It relates to the 2024 presidential election. Sick of politics? Jay Mostel’s book will make readers laugh at its absurdities. Take a chance on it. Grab a copy of the book on Amazon.
