Charlene Turner’s “Sun-Lion” promotes positive self-esteem and helps its readers make positive life choices. The book tour commenced with The Festival of Storytellers (TFOS) Season 3, a virtual event, on October 24 – November 6, 2022. It was followed by the ReadersMagnet Book Confab on October 28 - 30, 2022 and the New York Library Association 2022 Annual Conference and Trade Show on November 3 - 4, 2022.

“Sun-Lion” delighted readers of all ages who attended the Empire Book Tour events. NYLA 2022 took place at the Saratoga Springs City Center at 522 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866, while ReadersMagnet Book Confab took place at 72 Warren St., Tribeca, New York.

Author Bio
Charlene Elacia Turner was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She encountered many difficulties growing up, including being diagnosed with dyslexia at the tender age of 6. Her learning disorder caused her to develop anxiety, depression, and insecurity. Despite her challenges, Charlene chose to be strong and eventually pursued a medical rehabilitation and wellness therapist career.

For the past eight years, Charlene practiced and shared therapeutic healing needs using her hands and brain. Helping others heal became her passion as it deeply motivated her to change how people feel about natural resources. As a writer and a therapist, she seeks to educate others about the benefits of being healthy, especially with a sound mind. Charlene currently resides in North Carolina.
