Jeanne Tiefenbach-Henderson’s Book was Featured at NYLA 2022 Annual Conference and ReadersMagnet Book Confab

ReadersMagnet displayed the religious book “Madonna of the Ways” at the New York Library Association 2022 Annual Conference and Trade Show on November 3–4, 2022, at the Saratoga Springs City Center at 522 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866, and at the ReadersMagnet Book Confab on October 28–30, 2022, at 72 Warren St., Tribeca, New York.

What makes “Madonna of the Ways” more than a simple art book is the thoughtful captions accompanying each piece. In every way, this book is humble. In the middle of praying the Hail Mary, readers find Jesus.

Hail Mary’s first portion, from the Bible, depicts Mary carrying her son, Jesus, while the second part is a prayer from Mary’s children to Jesus. Like two gentle arms encircling the book’s beating heart, Jesus, these two sections complete the whole.

The goal of this book is to encourage readers to have a “Mary heart” and grow closer to Jesus. On every page, the author recounts an experience that had a profound impact on the lives of the persons involved, transcending the everyday.

Jeanne has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine and Professional Art and a Master’s Degree in Education and has studied under several master artists. Her current contemporary artwork focuses on stories of celebration. Jeanne’s work is represented by four galleries using her artist name, Vera Bonacci.

Her work has been published in the Circle Arts Magazine from the Lyon, France Gallery, and she has been a featured artist for a year, from September 2021 through 2022. She had several one-woman exhibitions, was shown in several juried shows, and won several awards.
