Skincare Brand SKINTELLI Releases the World’s First Antioxidant Self-Test Directly for Skin and Skincare Products

EpigenCare, manufacturer of direct-to-consumer SKINTELLI(TM) skincare tests, announced the release of two new products comprising of an antioxidant home self-test for skin and the other specific to skincare products. These tests are easy to perform on one’s own and can be completed in less than 15 minutes.

The self-test for skin allows consumers to adhere an adhesive disc to one’s skin, followed by a color reaction method that is measured against a color gradient system to determine a quality score. The self-test for skincare products enables consumers to test one’s own existing skincare products as well as potential new products of interest to measure their antioxidant capacity.

These direct-to-consumer tests detect antioxidant levels directly from the skin or the ingredients of skincare products, the first such method to do so, and can be done in the comfort of one’s own home.

Antioxidants, which are frequently contained in skincare products at varying effectiveness, are critical to deterring age-accelerating oxidative stress caused by the environment. Additionally, antioxidants are naturally found on the skin and can be dynamically affected by day to day activities over time.
